The Tangier Korean BBQ restaurant was sold to other investors, and the current location became a Starbucks coffeeshop in Silver Lake.
We were scouting a location where most of the patrons would be trendy and young professionals who have a disposable income.
Additionally, we were looking for a neighborhood with a concentration of restaurants that needed to be surrounded by expensive rental homes.
That is why we decided to open a new Korean barbecue restaurant in the Los Feliz area.

The original restaurant was a Moroccan restaurant with vintage interior design, as you can see from the pictures. Due to this, the establishment failed to draw any young customers, and business operations have declined.

The interior required a complete makeover and updates to meet city code, and the building's exterior failed to attract attention from the street.
To generate more buzz for the location, we targeted numerous members of the entertainment industry who lived nearby and wanted to be included in shooting scenes.
We want to make something that has never been done before that combines the vibes of an old-school Korean nightclub with anime.

Given that we have chosen to remove the hanging hood that would have obstructed the interior of the space, we have chosen to construct the underground hood system. You can see that the demolition has already begun.
